It’s Wednesday-Friday! Thanks to Dale Rogerson for posting her FF story or I wouldn’t have remembered the day. And thanks to Rochelle for keeping us on track with wonderful photographs to inspire 100-word stories. This photo was provided by Jeff Arnold. Thanks, Jeff, we all need rainbows these days.
Mom loves me, I know she does, but, even though my name is Angela, she calls me Ditzy. Always. No Kidding.
Tonight, I’m living up to that name in spades. After meeting him once, David said, “Come to my boat. I’ll make you dinner.”
Sure, he’d described his boat, color, size, and told me the number of the mooring slip. Now, with the wind whipping blonde curls in my eyes, I don’t remember.
Red? Blue? Sailboat? Motorboat? Slip 9? 14?
Heck! You only live once. I choose the white yacht at the end of the rainbow.
A good strategy when you’re lost

Ha ha – I hope she made the right decision, or perhaps gave someone else a nice surprise.

Me too although I think her life just kinda goes this way, day after day. Thanks for reading. I’m glad you found humor in the story.

Thanks, CE (what do those initials stand for?) At first I had her mom calling her Ditzy Blonde. Too much. I think that is what my parents would have liked to call me when I was a teenager. Glad you stopped by.

Hoping it turns out well for her, but her odds are probably 50/50.

I don’t think she cares – cause she’s ditzy.

Dear Lish,
I liked the blonde curls. She comes by Ditzy honestly. Thanks for the chuckles.

I won’t get to other’s stories until tomorrow. Today I’m taking intermittent brakes from learning about Corrective Exercise Continuum: In-Depth. Can’t wait until I can take, and pass, my final exam and get back to messing around.

I had to thank Dale today also. Her post brought me back to FF. I bet this ditzy girl always lands on her feet. I like her attitude.

Thanks, Dale. I think this gal knows how to roll with the punches! Stay safe! And thank your son for being brave enough to stay on the frontline.

Thank you. He was born to meet this crisis head on. I have to trust that he’s the best person to help in the moment.

Nicely written funny story! I hope good things for Angela, ditzy or not. The boat at the end of the rainbow is a good start.

I think, for Angela, it’s either that or turning back. And she isn’t a turning-back kind of lady. Thank you.

Oh, Ditzy! How disappointed David will be if you don’t show! Lovely gentle humour, Lish – loved it!

I hope that turns out well for her, but I feel kind of bad for David–unless he’s waiting for her on that yacht 🙂

You are sweet for thinking of David, although, maybe he’s better off without Ditzy.

🙂 Boy, I’d hate being called Ditzy!

Let’s hope it’s a lucky choice. Fate sometimes favours the brave. A good story that leaves me wondering if she did or didn’t?

So true. I’d like to believe the rainbow led her in the right direction.
